Theoretical question about microthreaded ram, USA GPU, & CELL

Here is a theoretical question about a potential unified shader architecture and CELL.

If you had a lot of SPE's in CELL assigned to vertex work, wouldn't the memory pool that the USA GPU is connected to, be a lot better off if it was microthreaded like Rambus XDR2? I'm talking a lot of CELL's power dedecated to geometry.
 
If I am not wrong the RSX in the PS3 is a subordinate of the Cell. Being Cell the main processor of the system.

The idea is using the Cell and RSX at the same time for things that the Cell or the RSX cannot do well in separate form, and for making this we have the FlexIO huge bus between Cell and RSX.
