The Newman's Energy Machine

Today I turn on the TV and saw the end of a Discovery channel programe about this, althought I did saw almost nothing about the theory and machine it got me interested, I made a litle search but I got few (good, forme at least) results.

So anyone knows this If so can you share some info about it, please

If perpetual motion engines/ generators/whatever, was possible, someone would have built them and sold them already. Obviously, as you can't go out and buy one of these, the theory behind them is IMPOSSIBLE to get to work in reality.

Besides, I'm pretty sure certain large electric motors do work at fairly high voltages, such as those used in submarines, etc.
