In the trailer, the city Bern (in Switzerland) is in it. I doubt it's just modelled for the trailer... the shops, restaurants and buildings are very accurate.

No words. No music. Just reality. This is what the GT5 intro should look like: GT1 Live TV :wink4:

Nice ! But I think a GT intro should also show the chasises. GT Prologue has exquisite chassis details, especially the headlights and wheels.

The interior view is interesting too, but shouldn't supercede the cars.

EDIT: I rewatched the fan video. I think he "gets" the other part of GT: the tradition/lifestyle of racing. Not bad ! ^_^

This will surely give Sony a nice boost worldwide.

Being the cynic that I am.

Anyone want to fancy a guess that the Sony financial situation may have prompted them to put significant pressure on PD for the first time? In order to get them to release this holiday season? If so, this could make their season.

Although the cynic in me still thinks none of the console manufacturers are going to do fantastic this season.

    Regards,
    SB

It's smart to consolidate their strength to take advantage of holiday sales and new SKU launch -- as long as Yamauchi's statement "We can release it anytime" is true.

Personally, I'm skeptical it will be timed with the SKU release. Holiday may be.

Have they released much gameplay as of late with all the new announced (or announced but never shown) features? GT5 has been very mysterious.

Nope. GT5 Prologue is the last we have seen of the game. Cars in GT PSP will be portable to GT5 and vice versa. That's it.
