Taking gaming too far

It seems to be a pretty regular occurence that people are taking MMORPGs far too seriously and coming to blows - especially in the far East, it seems. I guess as the games get more absorbing the gap between reality and fantasy becomes more blurred...

There are many "virtual theft" cases in Taiwan, but no killing occured. In Taiwan, stealing "virtual goods" is illegal if the victim sues. The involved law is not theft, but something like "unauthorized access to computer records."

Well basically he killed him over something worth a thousand bucks, a bit cheap for a life ... but people have been killed over less.
