On relatively clean install of Win7 Prem 64bit, fully patched. i7 920, 6GB RAM.

ATI 4870 - tried with 9.12, and installed 10.1 drivers with same results.

Supreme Commander clean install. Issues occur with 3189 and patched to current 3280.

I tried with and without a second monitor enabled. Same issue.

The only 3D setting I set in Catalyst is AF (8).

SupCom menus work fine, game at highest zoom-out looks okay, but as soon I start to zoom in the polygons go crazy and it is unplayable. Sound works, and the game thinks it is running fine, but graphics are garbled.

Other games work fine (UT3) with no graphics glitch.

    Any suggestions?

    I solved the problem.

Evidently this was a bug with ATI drivers 9.12. When I installed 10.1 it didn't fix the problem because I didn't do a good enough uninstall.

    1 - I un-installed ATI 10.1.
2 - Booted in Safe mode and used Driver Sweeper to remove ATI.
    3 - Re-installed ATI 10.1 drivers

I then ran into something strange... Catalyst wasn't installed but the driver thought it was! :( I had to use the driver to "un-install" Catalyst so that I could re-install it.

All works well now, including Supreme Commander!
