    Anyone check this out yet?

    http://www.stilllife-game.com/

It looks very dark and reminds me of a very old game .. erm can't remember the name. Also seems very much like Silent Hill etc.

It won Best Adventure Game as well as Best Adventure Game Graphics at E3 2004 though.

    So interesting?

Never heard of it before but, yes, it definitely does look interesting. The screenshots reveal a kean sense of artistry (for a video game) and if the plot is as good then it could be a winner. There's nothing like a well-done adventure game to draw you in, and they are a rare breed nowadays. One to watch...

There were no such categories in official E3 awards:
    http://www.gamecriticsawards.com/win.html
and Splinter Cell 3 won both "Best Action/Adventure Game" and "Special Commendation for Graphics", *grhm* ;)

Anyway, looks nice and I'm big fan of adventure games so might end up to my shopping list, but technically speaking prerendered graphics has little interest on me.

Ah, those are "Just Adventure" own awards, just like GameSpot/GameSpy/IGN/etc. got their own awards. Game Critics Awards are the official ones where people from 35 leading media outlets that cover games (e.g. GameSpot, OXM, PC Gamer, etc.) work as judges. It's ashame though that adventure games is dying genre and doesn't have its own category.

There was a demo released a couple weeks ago. It's standard fare for the genre, as far as gameplay goes. Still, it looks great and as long as it has a great story to match, it should be interesting indeed.

    7th guest was the own.

Played the demo and if you overlook the 2nd class voice acting it will prob be a pretty good game. I plan on picking it up.

You could have at least said that in your main post.
I swore Still-Life at least felt like a HL2 mod.

Where's the role-playing? Conversation options were limited to "talk", "don't talk", and "small-talk". :?
