Shadow Warrior 2 is great, but it's more Borderlands (a looter shooter) than it is like Doom. It's also infinitely better than Borderlands 3.

Shadow Warrior 1 (2013) is the one that is most like the original game and the most like Doom.

The upcoming Shadow Warrior 3, interestingly enough ditches the looter shooter genre from Shadow Warrior 2 and is instead modeling itself more after Doom (2016+ versions).

Shadow Warrior 1997 is still the best in the series :)

Thank you! Shadow Warrior 1 was a blast and the sequel was on my wishlist. I’ve had Ryse for a while and actually just started it yesterday. Gorgeous graphics for the time.

    Humble VR Discovery bundle:

    $1 Tower Tag
$12 adds Cook-out, Panopticon, Red Matter, Trover Saves the Universe
$BTA (currently $12.22) adds Blaston, Synth Riders

Because the BTA is above the “top” tier, you need to beat it (pay $12.23+) to get all the games.

I think Fanatical has another great VR bundle going, too.

Humble’s Sid Meier Ultimate Collection bundle is Civ 6 Platinum, Civ 5 Complete, Civ 4 Complete, and a bunch of other titles (no Alpha Centauri) for $15, plus a coupon to get the New Frontier Pass for $15 to net you Civ 6 Anthology.

Humble’s Overwhelmingly Positive Gems bundle is $12 for Shadow Man Remastered, Huntdown, There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension, Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, Bang-On Balls: Chronicles, Kathy Rain Director’s Cut, and Finding Paradise (all 95+% Steam rated games) for $12.

Gears of War Tactics (Microsoft Store) is $4 at GameStop and Target. It’s a Play Anywhere title, so you can play it on Xbox or Windows PC (via the MS Store).

Humble has a couple more good bundles, probably to promote their revamped Choice (fewer games, smaller initial Store discount, but only $12). I’m not going to argue.

5 days left for the Sid Meier bundle, 7 for the VR Discovery and Positive Gems bundles, and 19 for this Heroines bundle. The Choice bundle is probably good until the fourth Tuesday from now, so I guess 25 days?

If you pay by PayPal, check the Deals section as there might be a discount for a Humble purchase.

    Heroines Bundle:
    $1 Tacoma
    $12 Celeste, Cloudpunk, Gears 5
$20 Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, Scarlet Nexus, Severed Steel

    March Choice:
$12 Dark Pictures Man of Medan, Desperados 3, Evan’s Remains, Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Origin key!), Nebuchadnezzar, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Police Stories, Red Solstice 2 Survivor

They also have a Video Game Histories by Boss Fight Books bundle up for another 15 days. $18 for 31 ebooks.

Humble is at it again with the Best of Boomer Shooters bundle. There are three tiers, but realistically it’s $12 for Hellbound, Hedon Bloodrite, Project Warlock, AMID EVIL, Dread Templar, Dusk, HROT, and Ion Fury. (ITAD price histories, previous bundles.) ~16 days left.

Itch.io’s Bundle for Ukraine is $10 minimum for ~1,000 games, tabletop RPGs, books, and soundtracks, with all proceeds split evenly between two charities. (ITAD alphabetical list, Reddit GameDeals thread.) No Steam keys, just itch.io direct (presumably DRM-free) downloads. 9.5 days left. Some that caught my eye: Baba Is You, Backbone, Bleed, Bleed 2, Celeste, Cook Serve Delicious 2, CrossCode, Curious Expedition, Delver, Glittermitten Grove, Hidden Folks, Jotun, Minit, Night Call, Old Man’s Journey, Pipe Push Paradise, Quadrilateral Cowboy, Schildmaid MX, Sky Rogue, Sokobond, Sundered, Superhot, Tallowmere, Towerfall Ascension + Dark World, Underhero, Wandersong, ZeroRanger. Worth it (beyond the charity) just for Schildmaid and ZeroRanger, if you’re into shmups.

    Humble Ultimate Racing Sim bundle:

    $5 Automobilista
$9 Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition, NASCAR Heat 5, rFactor 2
$13 Assetto Corsa Competizione, Automobilista 2, DRIFT21, iRacing

Obviously the $13 tier is by far the best value. I'd skip the first tier, as it's probably smarter to pay a bit more to get Automobilista's complete edition. The second tier is great as is, but just go for the third.

You also get a coupon for 20% off Thrustmaster T150 or T248. Supposedly the regular T150 (non-Pro) doesn't have the greatest pedals. It's $230 on Thrustmaster's site, so $184 with the coupon ($200 at GameStop). T248 is $400, so $320 with the coupon ($350 for the PS4/PC version at GS). It looks like it comes with better pedals than the T150, at least, and makes an interesting case against the Logitech G29 at $300. Is a superior direct-drive wheel like the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro worth more than double, at $700? You get better force feedback and upgrade options (pedals, more power), and the option for Xbox compatibility if you buy another rim (because apparently PS compatibility comes from the base and Xbox from the rim).

    Back 4 Blood
    Endless Space 2
    Fable Anniversary

Wow, there are soooooo many good games in that bundle. I already own it, but Book of Demons is a fantastic take on the original Diablo with it's own unique gameplay mechanics and charm. It's like a tactical sort of ARPG.
