Diablo 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, DOOM/II, Quake 2, Half-Life/HL2 (the latter mainly because it's really satisfying playing right from the beginning with a shotgun that fires 75 pellets rather than the usual 6 and stores 1500 shells ).

TA I played lots in skirmish, but I only ran through the missions once.

On game consoles, SMB, Turok, Goldeneye were those I played the most.

I imagine it'd be a close call between Diablo 2, Tyrian 2000 and the original GTA.

The Resident Evil remake on GC is without a doubt one of the best console games ever created. I find myself returning to it frequently. Fable is also phenonomenal.

Most my PC games are MP, I couldn't conjure up any good examples.

*edit* System Shock 2 was very well done. Battlefield 1942's SP campaign was also a good one.

Nice List! I would add Diablo II and Civ 1,2,3 to it. And perhaps Nethack and Larn.

Too bad MOO III sucked, and the A.I. was broken in HOMM 4. Hope HOMM 5 isn't broken!

As usual, right on cue, everyone forgets to read the thread title and notice the word 'Game', not 'Games'.

Just recently I noticed i've actually played through Elite Force 1 at least 4 times now. I'm fairly certain there are games that i've played through more times than I can count, but they totally evade me right now.

    I'll think on it.

Probably doom 1 or 2. Possibly diablo 2 or gravity force.

Definitely Master of Magic (a fantasy Civ).
There are so many permutations of magics, skills, races and styles that I still fire it up occassionally after playing it countless times over the last ten years.

System Shock 2 and Thief 1. I've replayed them both countless times. Just recently started a new game of System Shock 2 as a matter of fact. (Bioshock screens and news got me thirsty for it again). It's funny to me that with all of the advances that have been made in hardware and graphics, this game from 1999 is still the most immersive game I have ever played.

Doom2 at least a hundred times over the years, I think I could do one of those 20-minute run-throughs without any problems

Quake 1/2, MDK, MDK2, Unreal about 20 times each, JK1 maybe 5 times.

On PC Age of Empires 2, maybe System Shock 2 or Dune (the Cyro one) come close.

On Console probbaly Streets of Rage or Way of the Samurai.
