I think that might be fake because the connectors on the back seem hand drawn.
I think it might be fake because wtf there's no way they'd release that.

well the whole thing is hand drawn, not just the connectors on the back. You can see mistakes with the marker on a few point spots around and near the ball.
not sure that means it's fake though.
Never gonna happen but pretty cool. How would you arrange the mobo and cooling?

It's a possible shape if they want to go all Apple-like. Then patent the idea of a sphere and sue everyone. Also if they really don't care about anyone having to fit the thing in their AV racks.
Add a big cylindrical heatsink in the whole upper half with the fan on top, with air intake from all sides and through holes and slits in the board, ODD right under the pcb, and PSU in the remainder of the lower half.
Technically the diameter would be limited by the diagonal dimension of the ODD.
I was thinking about a 7" or 8" cube earlier, this would be similar. The board could be right in the middle at the largest cross section. SoC centered.
