Someone won 50 €

If you followed the thread, the bet was about the card which would perform equally or better than the GTX but cost 399 (what everyone expected at that moment), so nope. And it was $50, not Euro.

EDIT:

@ a rumored $399 I'm really liking the R600.
Sure it may not wpe the floor with 8800GTX, but who cares its cheap and faster than 8800GTS.

Hmm, didn't you add the performance later on? Cause here you were kinda arguing the fact that the R600 was gonna cost $399

When oh when will this stupid shite of a rumour die?

Then Gouhan posted:

Calm down. Nothing's dying it is actually $399
I'm willing to bet on it are you?

And finally you posted:
Yes. $50, via PayPal?

And we're talking about the XT and the average price in e-tail on launch day.

So nothing was mentioned about performance here when the bet was made....

But then again, there's the thing about euro's and dollars. Cheapest HD2900XT I can find is €337 which equates to $456. Not sure about the cheapest HD2900XT in dollars. :p

Take it easy guys, I had just a little fun that morning. For more serious discussion if needed, the people involved are mature enough to talk privately together :)

Hm.

If one by "512 Mo" means "512 Moo" then that means you got a shitload of cows in your PC.

Otherwise I have no idea what that's about..

Peace.
