So is R580 supposed to be 48 pipes or 48 ALUs?

    Er, no. The R5xx series is quite good at saving memory bandwidth (hence the very low FSAA performance hit).

    It's probably because I haven't had an ATI card in my system to get annoyed with recently :)

    PREVIEW.. and what results btw? the one they mention? that's a CF setup..

    It's amazing how many people "benchmark" these cards without drivers...
