Sideways

And the other way 'round too. For example, I Robot was marketed as all movies (super trendy action etc etc etc ), but I actually thought it was good. Even good movies today still have to have that glam-hollywood appearance in previews....wait, what was I talking about?

Ok, well, just go see it.

Some friends of mine went and saw it about two weeks ago. They were really excited, because the rest of the director's work was so good, (Citizen Ruth, Election, and About Schmidt). They said however, that they couldn't stand it, and they actually walked out of the theater it was so bad. I've got a feeling it can't be that bad, but if you liked Payne's earlier work it looks like this might leave you disappointed. I'm probably still going to see it, though.
