I don't think Intel likes to get too cozy with any corporate relationship... That's usually pretty good business sense.

I might be completely wrong, but i think the Sammy Atomiswave is their current hardware, that's already being used in several games since 2003. http://www.system16.com/other/hrdw_atomiswave.html

now maybe Sammy has a new board coming which the games you mentioned will utilize.

Since Sega and Sammy are effectively one company now, or will be soon I think the use of Atomiswave, NAOMI 2 (or an Atomiswave 2 based on N2) and the new Naomi 3 would be the perfect low/medium/high mix of arcade boards. Sega-Sammy will basicly drive the arcade market along with Namco. I see Naomi 3 as a stopgap measure until arcade derivatives of next-gen consoles arive in the next 18-24 months.

There will be no nextgen derivative board, and naomi3 won't be some "stop-gap"

Naomi 3 will be immensly powerfull and will outdo any one of the next gen consoles.

Sega R&D, how about telling us all what the featureset and performance of the Series 5 GPU is at this time ?
