Relation between dot pitch differences and AA,AF

i have a viewsonic E653 15" monitor.
most of the time, this monitor is used for gaming purposes.
a year back, the brightness began to decrease, till some days back
it became unbearable.

i got it repaired by a viewsonic authorized technician.
since, the microchip for the e653 model wasnt available, he had to use
a microchip of the e53 model.

the e53 model is a 15 inch monitor with a dot pitch of 0.27
my monitor, the e653, on the other hand has a dot pitch of 0.28

will this difference in dot pitch create any problems?
the technician has used a micro chip from a 0.27 dot pitch model and used
it on a 0.28 dot pitch model.

while gaming i use AA and AF most of the times
1]will AA and AF quality be afftected like for those angles where
tan(theta)=0.28/0.27 ?

2]will 2D quality be affected?

Dot pitch will only really be significant if you try to use a screen resolution where there are too few dots for each logical pixel (i.e. you get aliasing in your monitor)

You said you had 0.28 dp so that means you have approximately one RGB dot triplet every 0.28mm, so across a 15" screen (~10" horizontally=> 251mm) you're going to have 896 dots... Yuck. Don't try any high resolution images!

You've only dropped down by about 30 dots so it's not going to make a lot of difference.
