Reference rasterizer questions

    1. Does it run on the shaders of the GPU or the CPU or can it run on either?

    2. What fraction of the performance does it give?

    3. Can I have a link to a benchmark comparing the MSE of ATi's DX10/10.1 HW rasterizer to that of nvidia's DX10 HW rasterizer? Or simply a benchmark of ATi's MSE scores (since I have an nvidia DX10 GPU)?

    2. Swiftshader will run a UT2004 2 player level on a q6600 at 6fps 1650x1080
    3. no idea what a MSE is

    Thanks Davros. MSE (Mean square error) is measured in Shadermark, and it's how much error there is with an IHV's hardware rasterizer compared to the software rasterizer.
