In the same week the coin zip of my three year old Nightmare Before Christmas wallet has broken, and my messenger bag that I take everywhere (affectionately known as my "manbag") has had a hole wear through the bottom. I'm now in the market for an upgrade.
I'm one of those who doesn't mind spending a little more for something unique and stylish for something like a wallet and bag, since I use them both every day. In wallets, I've liked:
- A number from Beautiful Decay (http://www.indiemerchstore.com/beautifuldecay/?s=926&c=128), particularly the Poketo - Sarah Utter Wallet 2. The only problem I have with these, seeing as they're so cheap, is they don't have a coin pouch
- Hlaska's wallets look beautiful - my pick of the bunch is the wood-panelled finish on the Evergreen https://www.hlaska.com/mw_detail.php?pid=Evergreen&key=016-03
- The Hlaska Metropolis (discontinued) at http://store.hazelchicago.com/hlaska-2.html is also pretty nice
- The All The Kings Men bags with aeroplane seatbelt strap is really hip
- The Hlaska Radiant Messenger bag looks really hip as well
So... any hot tips?
