some of those Resistance screens are especially impressive; i wonder if they're from a new build, or if its just a doctored screen/art concept?
well, obviously some are concept art, but the pics showing off the games models...very nice

I'm pretty sure they are ingame models. Theres some polygon edges that are noticable if you look hard enough. But I'll try asking on the Insomniac forums to confirm.

Wow.

I hope thats not the new EyeToy in that Eye of Judgement screengrab.
The image quality and colour accuracy is terrible.

Just for comparison, I just took this screenshot out of the program I'm working on right now. Only difference is the camera I used costs us $7 (we normally use much better ones), has a 320x240 native sensor, and we are aiming to have our software run on systems that don't even have video cards (this machine has a radeon 9600SE :p ) - it's also been jpg comprssed 3 times.

If our Eyetoy here was working I'd try a shot with that, but it's even crashing amcap right at the moment.

Nothing terrible about that pic at all, for a webcam that'd be fair quality. Looks as if the pic is a bit out of focus tho, or it's a case of bilinear filtering blur from scaling up a small texture to full-screen size.

I could show a pic of what my new fancy (and quite expensive I might add) 1.3Mpix MS Lifecam spits out under flourescent light; it aint pretty I can tell ya! The image you linked to is loads better on the whole.

IQ just looks like it's not focussed to me. Colour wise the white balance is off, and it looks like low-light conditions. So it looks similar to my experience with webcams that don't have auto-white-balancing. What do your results look like under incandescent light?

It'd be nice if the PS3 EyeToy used Sony's HD camcorder HAD CCDs :D

Hot Shots Golf 5:
Needs AA!
Genji 2: Day of the blade:
I really like this pic just for the frosty atmosphere.

Eye Of Judgement: Conquerors of 9 Fields:
Looks much improved in detail from the E3 version. If it animates well it'll be one to watch out for I think as a sleeper hit.

Looks like 'Super Sun Bug Shinning Collector 3' to me - :???: Google makes it out to be 'My gloss being completed 3' I think :???: :???:
Looks to be an 'idyllic childhood simulator'.

GT:HD: *sigh*
Why does this exist here? I thought it was just a demo and never intended to be released. Where are these images from? GC conference?

Are you crazy!? They would release GT on Memory Stick if they could! Of course they'll release it in some form or another, they'll milk GT until they can squeeze the last penny out of it.

I wouldnt mind if GT:HD was bundled with the ps3 as a bonus, along with some other goodies (demos, movies, etc.) I just can't see myself paying for it, maybe if it were offered at a really really.....really cheap price.

I thought it was mentioned that this was just a demo for E3 and Yamauchi didn't really want to show it, and we'd be getting a GT when done.

I agree with Bad_Boy, as a free addition on the HDD it'd be okay. Or maybe if it's sold for $10 - we wish! Given chumps even bought GT4 Prelude, I can well believe they'll release this though. Shame if so.

The one you're missing is Boku no Natsu Yasumi 3 - My Summer Vacation 3. It's sorta like an adventure game thing where you get to relive summer vacation as a kid... I've never played one, so I can't really say honestly...

Well the thing that jumps out at me is that the noise is also very blurry. Which would suggest the camera is in focus.
I guess I'm just confused, as I thought the new eyetoy had a full 1.3mp sensor. (when that shot looks to be 100k, like the shot I posted).

Last I heard, it will be 640x480 at 60fps. That's according to a translations by IGN of an IT media article with SCEI in regards to the next gen Eye Toy and Eye of Judgment.

Watanabe explained some of the technology behind the game to IT Media. The title makes use of a technology the development staff refers to as "Cyber Codes," basically 2D bar codes that are read by the EyeToy peripheral. Watanabe believes the next-generation camera being planned for the PS3 is important for the title. The new EyeToy can read VGA-resolution images at 60 frames per second, a big improvement over the PS2 version of the camera.

You wouldn't happen to have any links about it being 1.3 mp would you? That would be good news if it was.
