Just about the only thing bugging me about the game is that you cannot go backwards. That's a little annoying when your game is putting so much emphasis on collectibles.

This game has the best water effects I've ever seen.

I haven't haha. Obviously it's all subjective. Before Astro Bot my favorite water effects were Mario Sunshine, which came out over 15 years ago.

VR adds a layer of wetness and you can even have mist on the lenses for more immersion.

Does that beat the water that the Assassin’s Creed games have had since Black Sails btw?

Anyway Astro Bot is great. Just beat the first boss which indeed was fun and then the next levels were wonderful including the very nice beach / sea level.

Astro Bot is amazing. Maybe it's because it's my first VR experience, but it's been awhile since I've grinned the whole time I played a game. My only problem is that the headset doesn't feel like its attached firmly enough to support all the craning and gawping I'm doing.

It's a perfect system seller, and I've experienced no motion sickness. GT Sport, and I guess any game where your view moves independently of your head, gave me a hint of trouble. I can't wait to see what Wipeout does to me!

Is Rise of the Tomb Raider worth getting on PS4 (vs PC) for the minor VR part?
