It claims to be rendered internally in high precision, may be it is supersampled, and it claims to have a new technology to significantly shorten the load time

Please, SEGA, by all means ignore the very definate interest in a VF4 port among Xbox owners. Continue to give us sure-fire million sellers like TJ&E3 and Crazy Taxi 2.3, and then scratch your heads and wonder why they don't sell. You haven't played to win since the end of the Genesis.

That was the only logical decision. Japan is the land of VF fanatics, and PS2 rules there with iron hand. Besides that, they already had an engine ready, thus minimizing the programmers and artists' work. Personally, I hope they will just sort out interlacing, this time and make image quality better. Other than that, PS2 version of VF4 was an excellent looking game, and from all I've heard, perfect port gameplay-wise.

I hope they port it properly this time. The jaggies and low resolution textures made for an inconsistent game graphics-wise(sometimes it looked great, sometimes it looked terrible). Yeah, supersampling should work wonders and it wouldn´t hurt to see a slightly increased texture resolution.

One of those Japanese sites is reporting something about increased internal resolution and shortened load times. IGN is also saying that graphics and load times are improved.

Hooboy, I'll be very disappointed if VF4E doesn't appear on Xbox/GCN. VFQ for GCN, that's all well and good AM2..

I want my VF fighting, though. Unless Sony claimed exclusive rights to VF4, Sega would be silly not to port it.

Well, Sony does have exclusive rights to it, or at least it had. Also, in it's most recent interview with XBN, a month ago, Yu Suzuki has again confirmed there will be no VF4 on Xbox. Sooo, if you want the game that much... :)

No. Most people want VF4 on Xbox just to make trolling comparisons with the PS2 version. Not to play it.

I dont think the Xbox controller is well suited for fighting games, but I think the system hardware would definitely do the game justice (morso than the PS2).

AM2 Arcade -> PS2 conversion take 2!
Shimmering goodness again or T4 crystal clear 480p display?
