PowerVR for new PC games using SEGA monitors?

Newcomer
Hi

Im working in a company, that have some monitors (see txt attch) and like to use its in PC Platforms playing new PC games.

This monitors was inside some old SEGA coinups, but now that this machines are obsoletes for us we like to use this ones with new PC games.

The resolution is 640x480 but the image in the SEGA games is outstanding!!

Is possible to use PoverVR technology (with AGP slot) in PC plataforms and to have the same quality image that the old SEGA coinup playing new PC games?

We need to upgrade the SEGA games (in our stands) with new boxes using new PC games and like to use this monitors (we have a lot :)).

Thanks in advance and Best Regards

Eh.......I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I would think no. You can't upgrade the sega machines, if that's what you want to do, and you can't strip their parts and use them on a computer. The monitor might be usable, but I'm not so sure. Are you planning on having pc games in an arcade, or trying to upgrade the current sega games? I don't think the monitor will work with a pc though, at least not with acceptable visual quality. It only lists cga/ega support, and I think 640x200 is below vga standard anyhow, and the refresh rate might be too. Heck, if it wasn't for the cga/ega thing at the top, I'd say that was just a standard television. Of course, I don't really know much about this, so perhaps someone else on the boards can help. The best I can say is try it and see if it works, if not, you can get used monitors fairly cheap, or you may be able to use television sets instead.
