I think is down to the hardware providers if they want to keep supporting/ maintaining or updating their HW. Like security update etc, but they might have more to so with Sony side. Anyway trophies /leader board support are coming. Guess it only make sense that they do.

They had a Playstation Mobile demo setup with various games today at gamescom, running on various hardware, among which a HTC phone. Will post pictures with an overview of the titles there later.

Great! The listed games don't sound too appealing, but Lemmings was tooted. I'd definitely give Lemmings a go on tablet. Didn't like it on PS3 as the controller was no replacement for a mouse.

There will be a tonne of Playstation 1 games coming to PSM if I understand correctly along with the 'new' stuff. Some of the RPGs could be good.

Hopefully I'll also make my music game ;) I probably should try to find some people to collaborate. I have 2 weeks off now, so who knows how I'll end up spending it

I just read on N4G, that PSMobile launches this fall.
The same day as PS1-classics on Vita, and it were supposed to launch with around 30 games, Lemmings included.
It would be available in 9 countries on day one, and more to come as soon as possible.
Anyone got any confirmation from preferably someone doing interviews with Sony-reps on that?

Futurlab, the makers of Velocity, (87 on metacritic, out of 23 reviews), is making games 3 for the PSMobile service aswell, first one is called Slidin Beats, seems to be a puzzle-game wich creates puzzles out of midi's.

It's actually an official press release and also posted at the PSM beta forums. I already complained about my country not being among the launch group.

The first PS1 titles are coming to Vita sooner though, I think starting with firmware update 1.8 which is coming 28 August or so.

Patapon, Locoroco, and Echochrome should be on playstation mobile. I'm disappointed they're not launch titles actually, especially locoroco as it is very suited for gyro.

Echochrome can get PSM a lot of buzz IMO.

I agree. Locoroco and Patapon are great fits for Android.

No way they could do a software PSP emulator on most of the Playstation Mobile devices, and locoroco I think is probably a more taxing game than most people realise. Also realise that the maker of locoroco doesn't think that the game would work well with gyro at all (which I think is false - they should just use touch for jumping and calling locoroco back together).

thought syphon filter was rated by ESBR for PS Suite awhile ago before the name change (PS mobile). Maybe some PSP games are coming out for PS mobile?wonder how most of the game will work wihout L and R buttons.

You can put any button anywhere on the touch screen as a transparant overlay, that is also user customiseable per game, I think.

    Showreel from gamescom:

I cant imagine that would be even playable for syphon filter if they are just emulated. R1 and the face buttons for aiming has to work together all the time.

If that works for self-publishing on Mobile, why not use that method for all game classification?
