Plane9 is a scene based screensaver/music visualizer I have been working on for a few years. It was release in its first version about a year ago but have more recently got a simple shader editor added.
Main points of why this can be worth your time
I would really appreciate any input on how to make the editor better and easier to use. There is a small amount of documentation for the editor that might help you.
Main points of why this can be worth your time
- Shader editor works in realtime so if you want to quickly tweak something in your shaders it should help you
- Comes with some shaders from a few known scene intros that shows just how neat shaders actually are (Credit for those shaders goes to the respective authors)
- If you have a nice shader you like you can quite quickly create a new scene, add it and you would now have a multimonitor screensaver/music visualizer with your very own shader
- Shader editor is a lot more limited than NVidias Fx composer however its also a lot simpler so might help you if you just want to test what the fuss is about shaders
