Take a 2.4B, increase the bus frequency to 200 MHz and add hyperthreading and bam...you got a 2.4C. Of course they do use different chipsets as well but you get the picture.
Performance is basically slightly faster, probably shave off a good 5-10 seconds from encoding or rendering time. And of course HT makes a big difference in multitasking.
