My god, I bought the $5 steam special and these games are amazing! People complain about a lack of originality in game design, but these are definitely worth playing through.

They should get a Wii port, the controls are already perfectly setup. Very impressive what a team of 3 people was able to accomplish.

Overture has some lame combat however, but it's not that common and adds some dread. I killed one dog by igniting a propane tank and dropping it on its head from up high. The combat can be cheesed through if you figure out what to do, thankfully Black Plague removes combat entirely, but the enemies are also less fatal.

I bought the three penumbra games months ago and i loved them, they are a nice break from stupid blockbusters big company make those days.

I believe the first is the best one, followed by the second and the third, which is only a puzzle game (but that winter level!.. the atmosphere was amazing, wish they used that level for a more deeper game like first) but it's enoyable still.

Their level editor is called HPL, exercise of the reader to understand the acronym
