PC horror games, like Resident Evil or Silent Hill?

Since the home console market is kind of dry, what about Steam?

Are there any you know of with fixed camera angles, or third person viewpoints?

Ideally, I like to have voice acting too, and not just intertitles.

it's not third person it's first person but Clive Barkers Undying is as scary as hell
Clive Barkers Jericho is third person but not as good and not as scary
maybe you should look at Alien Isolation

Eternal Evil on Steam

A small town is being taken over by ghouls. Solve puzzles, carefully read notes and use various weapons against horrific and evolving enemies to uncover what is behind this gruesome event. Eternal Evil is an old-school survival-horror game.

I played the demo of this ages ago and now the full game is in Early Access and I've played about an hour of it. And then I remembered this thread. If you're looking for Resident Evil gameplay in first-person, this is probably worth a try.

I enjoyed Evil Within and recommend checking it out. It was directed by the guy who created the original Resident Evil.

I've been sporadically playing thru Evil Within again (for like years lol). It's very RE4 including the cheese. It is a good time. The sequel is entertaining too with maybe a Silent Hill vibe because of the open city areas.
