It's interesting that I've seen a girl around here that very closely resembles her, at least from this angle. :)

The hand on the girl on the right looks awful though and the arm of the girl at the bar too.

As popular as it is for CE2, they should have one. It only helps to show off the game and engine more. I'm sure CE3 will do the same thing. Even my console dick stroking friends really love the Sandbox 2 3000 Barrels Exploding video and the countless others showing off CE2. It would be totally crazy if the console versions of Crysis 2 had some kind of basic sandbox mode to screw around with to create customized levels in an Xbox Far Cry/Far Cry 2 sort of way.

The bloom filter is horribly overblown. Let's hope it's only a console release issue.

GamesRadar boosted brightness or gamma for the screens.

Crysis 2 to have Lower System Requirements and Better Graphics than Crysis

Not surprising given the city setting and the ability to occlude/cull :). Btw, I'm interested in what they constitute "better graphics"?

Does anyone notice the smoke and explosions seem to look more natural? On the second picture it appears that the fire ball above his head is also illuminating the wall!! The only thing that stands out is the low polygon count on the railing/fence and the sharp edges on the tan building on the right side...but those are some really minor quibbles.

Now that they use a deferred lighting system, they no longer have to use lame fill lights for particles =D

It also reminded me of the screenshots on the back of the original Crysis box. Remember the one where you are throwing the soldier through the hut?

Well they are supersampled so in-engine/in-game with some touch ups?

And I doubt you would need anything powerful to run that in no SSAA mode as it IMO doesn't look that special at all bar nanosuit model. Seen far better with CE2 despite lack of GI lighting method and well my Crysis with TODs looks a helluva lot better as in realism and total detail especially in SSAA mode... and doesnt even have to be in v.high mode...

Me thinks Nebula should be a Crytek consultant :yep2: I'm sure the new engine is more capable than the old one, just need someone at the controls who knows what does and doesn't look correct.

What's with all the new images cropping up all over the web? Isn't this game supposed to be months/a year away from release?

Seems rather a bit too early to start up the ol' hype engine, don't you think?
