I'm finding this game a little bit too childish for me... the robot is insanely annoying and I don't really like the characters. It's a shame cause the game itself is pretty fun

You only see the claptraps a few times after you get out of the first town. They are really only there to act as the occasional door keeper and as a standard side mission to expand your inventory space. You probably see them for less than five minutes during the rest of the game.

IIRC, he's in the main square at New Haven. You have to run a few missions for him before you get to New Haven and can talk to him directly

They spam to let you know there are new missions somewhere. I tend to just go there and grab all the missions at once, so I can do them more efficiently by doing several at once when I'm in the same area.

It's a bit easier when you get the teleport system up and running, because you can jump straight any area you've been to before, and usually grab a vehicle once you get there.

I got around to playing this game on a LAN party. Based on that experience I have just bought the game. Too bad that they didn't release a demo for this game.

Sidenote, the title song of this game has become my family's most abused song-o-the-month. Have it blasting in both vehicles whenever we drive. :)

"There ain't no rest for the wicked, money don't grow on trees. I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed; there ain't nothing in this world for free.

Oh no I can't slow down, I can't hold back; although you know I wish I could.

Oh no there ain't no rest for the wicked, until we close our eyes for good"

Can you guys post some Screens for tis game :D ! I am still on the edge, basically, I know I do not have time for it, but ever since the MW2 fiasco, I think I would rather buy this one :) !

Here you go, I threw some screens together for you on Imageshack. Here's a slideshow thingy if you prefer.

I didn't spend too long on it, and I did crank up the AA for some pretty pictures, though that much AA isn't really playable on my 4780 at that res. Normally, I'd play with less AA, but a 5850/70 would have no problems with it.

Fun game - just completed it this morning and it lasted quite a long time (especially when you go off an do all the side missions to level up, rather than just going straight through the storyline).

It was actually released as a single a few months ago... Gearbox must have licensed it for the game.

I had never played loot games before, but Dungeon Hunter on my Ipod Touch has me pretty hooked. So, I am more confident now, that Borderlands will suit my bill.

    Now, I need the most important commodity----TIME !! :D

Make sure you do all the "rescue the claptrap" missions. It's the only way to expand you backpack and carry more loot!!

You should also try Torchlight if you liked Dungeon Hunter.

I think it was about level 34 or 35. Contemplating how far I'll go through playthrough 2 - its tempting, I've done a few of the initial missions again, but I really should try Dragon Age, especially before Dirt 2 starts downloading into my Steam account...!

I am at level 8 Soldier ! World feels empty at the beginning, but I have seen some areas in videos, so I am positive it will get better !OTOH, I like the gameplay, works with my new found charm for Loot fun :D ! I was always a shooter guy, I never knew I could enjoy RPG/loot games untill Dungeon Hunter happened. Now, I love Borderlands !

    I tried Torchlight at a friend's place, but didn't click with me , I dunno why !
