I can't believe we have something like this in common, life-sucking experiences included!

So much to learn, so much to do, so many social interactions to enjoy, but... hmmm... I get chivalry next turn... Time to conquer the world! hehe. Good times.. :sigh:

 I haven't been able to get hold of this game (at a reasonable price, that is). I hear every RPG fan and their grandmother recommending this. Why has it not been re-released?

    Because Interplay is dead :(

Basically the only way to get it is to buy it second-hand or pirate it.

These games are the first thing I install with windows:

    Unreal Tournament(original)
    Quake 3
    Star Craft
    Diablo II

I never get tired of playing those games, all online.

Well, I thought this thread was about what we've got installed, not just great games in general. I did mention many of those games, like the Ultima Series, but some only indirectly ("all old Origin, Bullfrog, Looking Glass and Sid Meier games")... :)

Nethack and Slash'EM, or rather the new versions with the 3D isometric interface from Falcon's Eye: Vulture's Eye and Vulture's Claw.

Although I don't know if that counts for old games.

my HDD has the following classics:
    - The Stunts
    - Pinball Fantasies
    - Transport Tycoon
    - Ignition
    - Settlers 3
    - Need For Speed 4
    - 1NSANE

and still playing all of those. Of course if other platforms are also counted (though first post said PC-games) then the list for Commodore 64 goes:
    - MiniPutt
    - World Class Leaderboard Golf
    - World Games
    - California Games
    - Test Drive 2 plus all scenery and car disks
    ... etc etc etc.
