There was some talk about them upping to 8GB.
But memory is something that can be changed, GPU and CPU, less so.

8gb unified memory the live feed has gone down...anyone got anymore updates?

X86 cpu...custom gpu....large hdd intergrated...we dont know memory type yet...

Knack looks like a tech demo turned into a game, but holy cow it looked amazing.

 

Except for memory amount, leaks are spot on. If MS leaks are also spot on, than its game over for Redmond guys I think.

He also mentioned "nearly 2 TFLOPS" for the GPU which is in line with the ~1.8TFLOPS in the leaks.

 

RAM amount is pretty basic, and the leaks are wrong. Only thing from the leaks confirmed so far is x86.

Laa-Yosh - close, but that's it. And dead wrong on RAM amount.

 

Getting far more information than I expected, kudos Sony.

 

You can play games while it is still being downloaded. Dedicated compression/decompression HW.
