Setting this to anything but 5 makes the water effects break.

And no one has found a fix for the water break yet either.

I like the sparse grass tweak, I'll try and hunt up where I found it. It really helped with my FPS without bad visual side effects.

mm, setting uNumDepthGrids to 1 helps a bit but doesn't fix it completely.

I was looking into the water thing. I found the fix to get rid of the missing water tiles, but so far I don't think anyone has found a fix for the bad reflections. Other stuff screws up when you load more tiles too. :(

Not to mention that you'd better having a horking good PC to pull off loading more tiles, it'll kill performance fast.

On the brightside I'll wager this game will be a lot of fun to scale up on the next generation of hardware.... ;)

Having tons of fun! The questing system so much better than in Morrowind, I feel like I have a purpose, its more linear, but then again, I dont have to do the main quest at all if I dont want, and still have tons of fun doing side quests, joining guilds, etc.

Right now, I'm at the point where I'm at Azura's Shrine, I got the glow dust (sorry guy at Mystic Emporium, but you had to DIE!) and talked to the god, but now I still have a green arrow in that spot and no clue what to do? Guide me!

Well, that's what your quest log is for :) Usually I've found it to be quite helpful.

I swore I looked at it for the quest, but might not have. You're right though, I've also found it to be extremely useful. I love this game sooooooo much, lol.

Go up to the Azura Statue and press space, although I bet you already figured that out by now :) She will only accept offerings during dawn and dusk.

Speaking of Oblivion gates, I've found that it's easier to simply sprint through the tower and pull the sigil stone and then jump down to keep from dying if you've got a massive 'train' of enemies you've pulled on your tail. Kinda acted as practice for me when I got to the battle for Bruma. Only enlisted aid from 3 cities before that section, though I perhaps took an unnecessary NPC casuality. Trestolt is now 24th level and wielding daedric equipment. . .those minotaur lords in the arena are a joke. Great for getting my block skill up since they can barely dent me.

How far as everyone advanced in the Arena? I played and was having a blast, but I'm to the part where I must fight three prisoners at once, I'm having a terribly hard time trying to beat them, I cant kill one, it seems they keep regening health on me!

I'm about 17hrs into it so far, I'm a level 10 RedGuard Adventurer. I'm supposed to be going to Azura's shrine but I want to hang out in the fighters guild for a little bit. Does anyone else when they level give points to their lowest attributes so as to be more balanced? I was dissapointed that you can't zoom +/- the maps with the scroll wheel.

On a side note HDR isn't an option for me even though my card supports it. And where do you choose what level AF and AA you want and which looks better large or small textures?

You're not missing much honestly without HDR, its nice, better than 99% of the games that use it, but I turned it off myself, there's only like a 5FPS difference for me with it on or off, so I really just turned it off out of perference.

AF, I dont know, I just have it forced in my graphics cards setting at all times since I use 8xAF with all games. AA can be set either with the options when you first launch the game, or through the options in game I believe.

And good question about the textures, I havent played around with that much, I've been to busy enjoying the game to stop and tweak much with the graphics so far.

well memory usage with both physical and page file is about 1.1GB with 550~ being phyisical.
So 1.5GB of ram should make this game run smooth as butter :???:
    I get a few stutters...
