Is anyone getting this error when starting the demos, after applying the patch in Win 7:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Might I recommend that you try Optix 2.0 beta4? It has full support for GeForce GTX 260 and upwards.
Then you shouldn't need the patch.
