Does anyone remember a review that compared 1070 performance with respect to memory clocks (independent of core)? I've got a juicy core clock on this thing but I'm very mildly disappointed in the memory.

    1050 ti from Digital Foundry

    http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-review

"The Zotac board we were provided with happily boosts to 1650MHz out of the box without breaking a sweat, and overclocking taps out at 1850MHz, without exceeding that hard 75W limit."

Trades blows with the 960 out the box, beats the 460 by a reasonable chunk.

"It's an absolutely tiny card, it's virtually silent, and the fact that it runs so cool"

"Brutally efficient and highly frugal, the GTX 1050 Ti is a clear winner in its £140/$140 price category, easily outclassing both of the factory overclocked RX 460 4GB models we were sent for testing. What Nvidia has managed to extract from the minuscule 75W offered by the motherboard PCI Express power line is quite remarkable, and as a simple plug-and-go replacement for lower-end desktop PCs, there's nothing on the market quite like it."

However its value is underwhelming citing 35% more for a 1060 3GB with 60% more performance and the 470.

Oh and that 35% is a system total power draw comparison and not a direct GPU comparison.

Sad to see both AnandTech and The Tech Report have fallen so far behind in reviewing GPU's.

looks like voltage wise overclocking, the 1050's are staying with in the same range as TSMC's 16nm Pascal's around 1.05 volts, looks to me Samsung's 14nm and TSMC's 16nm are fairly close.

*uses google translate to read computerbase's review*

*notices in the table on the first page that the memory clockspeed is translated as "Saving act"*

    Oh, Google Translate, never change.

Hmm... Has anyone done a comparison to a GTX 660? That's what I got.

Do any of the reviews note what the idle voltages are for the cards?
(or the voltage of the lower clock/voltage set points?)

750 TI's a good 20-30% or more slower depending on the game at launch, IIRC(Tech Report's got a weird result where Tomb Raider 2014 is just barely slower than a 650 Ti Boost, which is basically a 660 but with one SMX disabled and the full memory/ROP setup intact). I don't think anybody did a comparison with it and the GTX 660 after Maxwell 1.0 had had several months of driver updates to sort stuff out a bit more, so who knows what the actual difference is now.

Can't really be a proxy in this case... The perils of owning four year old hardware. :(

The RX470 is clearly the card to get, even if it's a bit more expensive and consumes a bit more power. GP107 is only good for laptops really. . .
