Seems like load is throttled furmark (look at 1.09), so not that useful.
And like SB says, would rather see the load figures combined with performance in some reasonably balanced games. But ofcourse a "power-virus" (that isn't detected/throttled, maybe apart from pure TDP throttling) is also useful - especially for stability testing.

Wow! It's like twice as fast as the 480!
Oh wait, the graph starts at 0.8?

In stock at the egg too. No paper launch so far.
Shocker. I'm impressed with NV for the first time in a while.

So that article says that single-cycle fp16 texture filtering like seen in GF104 and updated Z culling appear to be the architectural enhancements.

The multi-texturing results are "strange". Can't help feeling that it's a complete waste of time trying to understand them.

Having a few units available way over MSRP and limited to 2 per customer at one of the largest US online retailers and a hard launch are two very different things.

2 per customer? That would be a lot ;)

I think Nvidia has done ok with the launch. Now it depends on how quickly they can make more stock available.

They're not sold out yet and the west coast of the US is already waking up. If they still have stock after 3 PM EST then I'd call it a semi-hard launch. If they still have stock tomorrow it's a hard launch and if they still have stock on Thursday it's a flop because nobody's ordering :)

The 10% off promo brings it back to MSRP. I thought the defnition of a hard launch is that you could get one if you wanted to. What definition are you using? Man, nVidia can't do anything right eh? :)
