New Tekken 6 Trailer

No Yoshimitsu?! Personally I thought he/it was the series' defining character.

1. You should never trust Wikipedia on "spoilers" like this, because anybody can just edit the page and make you believe ;)

And

2. Confirmed doesnt mean Yoshi or other Tekken characters wont be there. Kinda like how other games "confirm" things, but that doesnt mean only the confirmed stuff will appear on the final game

At this early stage, it hardly looks impressive, but as long as they maintain the same level of gameplay from Tekken 5, everything should be fine...

Tekken 6 demo soon?

February 26, 2007 - While Tekken 6 made a surprise appearance at the AOU arcade expo in Japan a couple of weeks back, missing from the trailer footage and brief developer interview aired at the show was specific information on when we'd be able to get our hands on the title. In fact, aside from a promise of a 2007 arcade release, Bandai Namco failed to make a clear timeframe public.

But the folks at Japan's number one arcade magazine were privy to some extra details, it seems. A major arcade website has obtained the April issue of the monthly Arcadia magazine and posted all the key details. Included is one little bit that's sure to get Tekken fans excited. Tekken 6 development staff revealed to the magazine in an interview that they hope to put their latest creation on location test before the weather gets hot.

Depending on exactly how hot they mean by hot, this could imply a location test as early as May. We'll let you know if we hear anything more specific.

I doubt they count spring as hot, so a T6 demo before summer perhaps?

edit: since its before summer, then it falls nicely in the timeframe of E3's event (E3 is in july). Possibly a playable demo on E3 followed by the same demo on Playstation Network :D

No matter how many times you say "demo," it's not going to take on the same meaning of "location test."
