New patent by Mark Cerny on improving Ray Tracing

Two things I want some clarification for.
What do you mean you got less time each time you finished it? Like everytime you finished it the game was shorter?
And about soldering controllers. The Atari didnt support 4 controllers. But the game supported 4 players on the Atari?

I think it was when you finished the last level, you started on level 1 again. But the time you had to finish the level was less than in the first round you are on the level, if that made sense.
On the Amiga you could make a dongle you plugged into the parallell port that you connected joysticks to. Some games supported it and then you could have mode than 2 joysticks/players.

This looks like a similar patent app Sony's had for over a year now. Talk of an RTU has been in ither Sony patent apps predating PS5 release.

Yep exactly that on both counts. First time I soldered anything iirc.
