sorry but i really hate to hear that.
Low graphical quality is essentially tied to bad artistical imput at the asset creation level.

But notice I said "graphical quality" (as in, on a technical level), NOT artistic, visual, or creative quality. I'm very careful in my word choice, believe me.

I still stand by my statement that low graphical quality is an indicator of low programming talent.

Let's keep the discussion On Topic folks. Debating semantics or judging graphical/art quality is not the purpose of this thread.

Okay, those quotes give me some hope. Maybe it's just a case of butchered screenshots.

now with another check session i'm 99% sure that april fool video (and some screenshots) is natively rendered in 1024x768, maybe the game use another resolution but this video is 1024x768

What are the chances of the final game using a different resolution? would there be any reason for Konami to release an upscaled gameplay video?

End of suspense for MGO, i played and checked the demo
    it's 1024x768 (100% sure) with temporal AAx2 like DMC4
    my forecast was good :)

i think they use "max 1024" resolution like VF5 (VF5 is 1024x1024 and 1024x768) for improve post-process (and software upscale), in this case the framebuffer is like a texture and RSX is probably more efficacious for texture 1024x1024 or under (cache optimization or other thing)

1024x768 is also "64x64 tile compliant" and "4/3 SD format compliant", bonus advantage

Interesting, so MGO is 664p equivalent then which is non HD (or?). Wonder if MGS4 will have same res or higher. btw Quaz what is the framerate?

Have you tested if it runs in 1024x1024 (like Virtua Fighter 5) in 720p mode?

Has GTA4 been done yet?. Because some sites + Take 2 say the PS3 version looks slightly better, I have a feeling they didn't tile on the 360.
