Need For Speed Rivals [Next Gen, Current Gen]

I LOVED Criterion's Hot Pursuit and this looks almost like a sequel. Am I the only one excited for Rivals?
I prefer arcade racers and most of Criterion has been absorbed by Ghost Games so I have high expectations. Although Im not happy that Criterion now has 17 employees.
Its also interesting that its running on Frostbite 3.

I liked hot pursuit apart from the fact forcefeedback was non existent an wheel support was poor
but I thought nfs the run was terrible. Which title will rivals take after

edit: blackbox who made the run are not involved - yay

Ghost is made up from former DICE, Criterion, Black Rock (Split Second), Bizarre Creations and
Turn 10 members. On paper its in good hands. Even the lead designer from Watch Dogs and Far Cry 3!

Theres only one 'NFS Most Wanted', isn't it? :???:

Aren't there at least 3? Two modern ones and the original from ages ago, that was the follow up of NFSIII Hot Pursuit? My memory is a little foggy, but I'm sure Davros knows.

Need for Speed: World

Ok. I also know of all NFSs, but I thought it was clear we were talkinng about Criterion here. C'mon, anyone who is out if his twenties now knows about NFS. It was 'Da Game! ' :D

Edit: @Davros :Underground not installed  ! No words !

I remember Underground 2 to be th eopen world gimmick while Underground was what , what do you say, totally glamourised NFS with all that jazz of night racing, neonlighting and sparks that slow-mo-ed the game on my PC. My favourite NFS, along with Porche Unleashed. :)

The downfall started with Carbon and continued till Criterion came in with Hot Pursuit again.(yes, there are fans of shift too) for me, Criterion made NfS relevant again as I found myself playing a NFS again and enjoying HP and NFSMW by Criterion.
So, I can't understand why they want to leave doing that. I thought must be working on the next gen crashtastic shiny 60fps Burnout !!!
