name ideas for the GCN2 (N5) graphics processor

I was thinking what the name of Nintendo's graphics processor in GC2 / N5 might be. a few thoughts based on their previous stuff plus a few made up names.

PPU5 (picture processing unit 5) the graphics co-processors of Nintendo's Famicom/NES and SuperFamicom/SNES were called PPUs

RCP2 (Reality Co-Processor 2)

Flipper2 (new Flipper if N5 is a nextgen Gamecube)

Nadeon (Radeon for Nintendo)

NIP (Nintendo Imaging Processor)

EADIS (EAD Image Synthesizer)

ok some of these are pretty stupid. can you come up with something better?

They are going to capitalize on the aquatic theme of their last product names, as well as Pixar's latest hit, and refer to it as Clown Fish/Nemo.

Hehe. No idea, myself. Kinda depends if they are indeed bringing their console up to the price point of the others and/or if they're willing to take more of an initial loss.

No, but IIRC the processors in the PCE only had numbers. Also I remember the Iron Man board eventually became the PC-FX.

If Nintendo keeps ATi most likely it will be a dirivitave of R4X0 series. They could even use a R300 GPU and be far more advanced than anything currently on or in the forseeable future for the console market...

My new idea is that they name N5's GPU "Chuck Woolery," and the similarly name all other chips after gameshow hosts. Maybe just their last names, for convenience.

They'd sound pretty good, actually! Sajak, Trebek, Dawson, Barker, Convy... Even Martindale! Amazing!

My guess is it will be something that sounds neat or is catchy in a japanese business meeting.. but will translate to something homoerotic or childish in english.
