yes, very interesting to hear about S3 GPUs, certainly there's some true things in that article.. but there's bullshit as well.

Such as, sorry, the dual core GPU, a eight cores GPU with a 512bit bus. but that might make some sense if we call the things"cluster units" rather than cores. think G80.

also dual channel 64bits, quad channel 128bits, dual channel 64bits.. doesn't make much sense, or that mean 2x32bits, 4x32bits, 2x64bits crossbar?

I've seen a slide of that roadmap somewhere; the INQ is truly again interpreting things the wrong way.

It would be great if I'm completely wrong but this whole thing smells like budget GPUs and it's a bit too early to get enthusiastic about frequencies; as a quick reminder:

700MHz is also quite high if you consider that it launched in Q4 2005.

but these are the product specs, and dont u remeber the diagram which showed two GPU cores next to two CPU cores, If multicore GPUs are the future then we all have to accept that and future will tell.
