MS announces 'Microsoft Flight' (Gamescom)

    There probably won't be much "simulation" in this "game"...

    I see potential but I find it equally revolting that they created two new games for franchises that had their main development teams disbanded (ACES and Ensemble, good teams at that!). MS Flight could be good, but I'll hold my breath. They need to take a hard look at FSX and really work out why it's such a system hog even after so long. My gut feeling also tells me it will be on the 360 too, therefore either limiting the scope of the simulation (if it really is a sim), or the world itself. I have no excitement for that Age of Empires online title, though it's obviously pining for the Facebook crowd it seems.

    The company making AoE: Online is Robot Entertainment which is composed of former Ensemble employees (including the founders).

    They just happen to now be independant and thus able to negotiate their own publishing deals. It's basically an independant Ensemble Studios.
