The Creator: Great premise, great effects, good acting.
Could have been an epic classic but let down by some really really fucking stupid bits of plot.

I'd like to hope there is a 'Snyder cut' version that actually makes sense but probably not.

Saw The Marvels last night and it was quite a bit better than I exepected. Sure, my expectations were pretty low but still I thought it was MUCH better than the last Thor, Antman and many of the new shows that have been coming out. Bit of a shame that this is bombing, I guess everyone is a bick sick of Marvel after so much rubbish.

Xenogears 20th anniversary concert bluray. it looks and sounds amazing!

too bad its not being sold in my region.... square really need to partner with AppleTV or something, and let people have easier time purchasing their amazing concert movies.

Monsters by the same guy: clearly lower budget but I think works much better as a story. Trigger warning for ppl who are passionate about building/not building The Wall.
Monsters of Men because it has been in my todo for a while & similar name: pretty good, kinda a modern take on Number5 mixed with Rambo. Robots are animated at different framerate or whatever that makes it look kinda jittery like the ED-209 from Robocop but otherwise pretty decent for (I presume?) pretty low budget.

Edit: Oh, also I rewatched Ad Astra because I saw someone commenting on it favourably elsewhere.
Don't remember if I noticed previously but the spaceship interiors & zero-g stuff was very well done but the plot is still trash.
Its the Patrick Bateman idea of what a 'thinking mans space movie' should be but its not, its just a trash hodge-podge of bits from actually good movies stuck together.
