Mouse as joystick

Does some software exist which lets a mouse act as a joystick?
You should define a radius and within that circle works as precise joystick. :)
One game I know (Söldner) supports this natively but I'd like to use it in others as flight controls too (also in dosbox).

edit:
I was impatient. I'll try PPJoy now.

why not my joystick has a mouse

seriously though you can pick up a joystick pretty cheap they are much better than ppjoy

:)
I tried PPJoy and in dosbox it's laggy.
The X52 has frictionless hall effect potentiometers and I read that it's still not very accurate.
Those CH joysticks seem to be good but I'm not sure how long they last.
Isn't there some really accurate force feedback joystick around?

saitek, logitec and thrustmaster are the only ones doing ff nowdays
the only ff hotas is the thrustmaser afterburner

sadly logitec no longer make the ff joystick of the gods
the Wingman Force (and no you cant have mine ;) )

I have the non FF Logitech Wingman3D Extreme. :) The rubber at the between base and stick is bad though.
I recently bought a Saitek Cyborg Evo FF and it's very inaccurate.
Well I'll try Logitech and Thrustmaster then.

It seems I was a bit unfair. :) It's been a long time since I last played X-Wing and my skills were the problem.
