Guess i'll make a small list of the games i'd most want a proper sequel to.

    Star Control 2
    Duke Nukem 3D
Master of Orion 2 / Master of Magic
    Elite
    Need for Speed
    Starquake
    F1GP by Geoff Crammond
    Farcry
    Bloodwych
    X-Com 2
    Mechwarrior

Think that would be my most wanted ones :)

    Old franchise:
    Full Throttle 2.
Tie Fighter 2, something with a good storyline as well as gameplay. (I'd settle for Tie Fighter with new graphics though)
Xcom 4, agree with Bystander, just new graphics would be ok.
    Syndicate remake, yes please.
Dark Forces 2, and, as swaaye said, where the player isn't a jedi (or has very limited powers).
Populus, either remake or sequal. B&W was ok, but rather have the classic gameplay..

    Newer games:
    Master of Orion
The Longest Journey 2, which apparently is coming. But hopefully with more empasis on interaction (even if it is only the illusion of choice).

With exception of the last game (TLJ) I'm not really sure if I want the remakes/sequels or not.. As long as they are made in the same spirit as the originals, then yes please, though I'm afraid it might just as easily be cash-cows where the gameplay comes last...

I just started replaying System Shock 2 again. With all three high-res packs, it looks quite nice, although you notice the lack of active lighting, if you look for it. But the atmosphere!!! You really feel for those people, and definitely want to kill those SOBS who did all that!

I think this game does it all right.

The game has incredible audio. That really did it for me. And I also think the graphics are suprisingly sharp. The art is done in a way that gives it a look that didn't age badly at all, IMO.

There's just one thing I didn't like about it - it requires too much effort. It would be a perfect game if it was just a bit easier.

    Bullfrog forever!

Magic Carpet 3 - Master of Ether!
The Apprentice is now the Master as he takes the fight to other realms, wooing princesses , fighting Lord Deamons, and evil vizers!

Dungeon Keeper 3 - Conquest of the Surface
Having consolidated the underworld, its now time to take on the surface world.

Syndicate 3 - Return of the lost Squad
Betrayed by their corporate contact, the presumed lost squad must gather the money, resources, and intelligence to take on and over the MegaCorps!

    Other games or note:

    BattleZone 3
    HomeWorld 3
W40K: - Yes please, may I have another?

I sometimes play RTCW and I find it's cool afterall (especially with high res and framerate), I'm near the end. I look towards the sequel on doom 3 engine and would like to hear about it. I want to see what Gray Matter makes of the engine, their games (kingpin, rtcw) made the best use of the quake 2 and quake 3 engine : great texturing, artwork and sound. gameplay and level design fine for me too. Not every fps has to pretend it's intellectual and have secondary fires, special moves and computer terminals everywhere.

Agree with the first two. I REALLY liked Shogo, still have it. Same with NOLF2.

I also couldnt understand why there was never a Farcry 2, or at least an expansion pack. So popular, great engine, and yet nothing? :(

What do you mean by too much effort? It's too complex? I played through the game a few months back and really enjoyed its style of play. I also noted how much Doom3 "borrowed" from it (and simplified it).

I unwittingly purchased "Slave Zero" way back when for the Dreamcast.. It was fun, for a few moments.

Zone Of The Enders 3 <---- Please
Okami 2 <---- Would be sweet
And I agree with an earlier post, No more tuner/underground NFS titles

Ubisoft is making a FarCry 2, its just not going to be made by Crytek which pretty much means it won't be the same level of quality. There was a leak recently that had some footage.

    StarCraft 2
Deus Ex 3 (true to the spirit of the original, not like IW)
    System Shock 3
Unreal 3 (in the mood of the original, not like U2 mission after mission)
    Max Payne 3
Far Cry 2 (with Crysis-quality of graphics)
    Freespace 3
    Diablo 3
    Painkiller 2

Some of them will be made, some not, some are already in the works.
