Metroid Prime 3 Possibly Delayed?

According to Gamepro, souces with knowledge of Best Buy inventories have seen a new shipment date for Metroid Prime 3. Date: December 31, 2007. If true how might this affect Nintendo?

I doubt much. Those who would buy a Wii for the game still will, and those who buy the game still will (just that time with gift certificates). When was the "original" release date?

Interesting, that would be a rather massive delay considering how close June really is.

The day Best Buy knows and reports final game release dates well ahead of any other source is most likely the day the moon falls from the sky. So no. I don't trust this. They're just doing their usual CYA thing is my bet.

As far as I know there has never been an official release date for this game... Gamestores often publish dates out of their arses.
