MBX Lite Tech Demos from Intel -- Axim X50v 2700G

Showcased on the big screen and running from a Dell Axim X50v with Windows Mobile 5, Intel highlighted the 3D graphics, with an OpenGL ES demo by Futuremark called Twilight, and video playback capabilities of their 2700G MBX Lite processor at last year's eFocus exhibition.

I don't know whether Futuremark would distribute Twilight, but the OpenGL ES Cyber Samurai and Proxycon are part of 3DMarkMobile06 developer's edition.

I'd say these are way more than I expected an MBX Lite, or even an MBX, to be capable of doing.

What's up with the uncompromising filter quality though? PC graphics generally aren't anywhere near that sharp or clean, looks like a render.

Presumably they're promo screenshots, with the usual insanely unrealstic level of SSAA. The PC screenshots of 3DMark are equally fantastic looking...

That's 3DMark 03. I guess they render at the maximum resolution at a 16th the real framerate of a typical resolution, and downsample for the pretty website graphics.

As demos made for running on any OpenGL ES 1.0/1.1 hardware, the sample screenshots and videos of Cyber Samurai and Proxycon don't necessarily reflect any particular system's quality. They were just provided for illustration.
