Marvell announced PXA2128 SoC for smartphones and tablets a few months back.
Overview:

* Two ARMv7 cores running at 1.2GHz (40nm HPM), with a third low-power core (40nm LPM) with same instruction set.

*3D graphics with 466 MTri/s and 1.4 GPix/s

*Dual-channel (2x32-bit) memory controller

*1080p video encode/decode

*USB 3.0 connectivity

Thoughts? Wondering who the GPU IP provider is.

Vivante IMHO.

Well I thought so too but am not too sure.

the 2D/3D graphics engines have four shaders and two pixel pipelines that can each process two pixels per clock. This translates into peak geometry and rasterization rates of 466 Mtri/sec and 1.4 Gpix/sec

This does not seem to match any announced Vivante GPU. For example: Vivante quotes 100 MTri/s and 1.25 GPix/s for GC2000, and 200 MTri/s and 2 GPix/s for GC40000.

That even supports the theory it being Vivante GPU IP, since they have the tendency to brutally exaggerate with triangle rates.

...and to clear the confusion the above "Immersion16" is a GC4000 afaik; that's a GC2000 running at 1024 http://www.glbenchmark.comphonedetails.jsp?D=Panasonic+Toughpad+FZ-A1B&benchmark=glpro21 vs. 1280 for the GC4000 above.
