Linux suggestion for old laptop

Looking to bring an ancient laptop back from the dead and get it to usable form. 128MB of RAM, sub-GHz PIII. Right now I've wiped the Win 98 and put on Linspire from a CD I had lying around; it has everything I'd want on this computer, but it's slow as hell. Are there any recommendations for a super-lightweight modern Linux distro that anyone might suggest I try?

It depends what you want to do with it. If you're running headless, I'd give the Ubuntu Server Edition a try, or if you want something graphical, DSL (Damn Small Linux) may be worth a gander.

Thanks guys - I was originally looking for OpenOffice to be a part of the ISO, but after checking out DSL it does very much seem to achieve the goal.
