Kaspersky are currently doing a Christmas promotion with their products at 50 percent off. If you hunt around Google for additional discount codes, you can probably get extra discounts for an even cheaper price. Kaspersky have also sorted out their volume discounts, so if you buy more licences or longer licences, you get a cheaper price per licence.

For instance I bought a 2 year, 3 user licence that works out to be about £3.50 per year per licence. Dirt cheap compared to their old prices for one of the best anti-virus products on the market.

Kaspersky do two main products for home users, Kaspersky Internet Security is their kitchen sink product, with anti-virus, anti-spam, firewall, etc, and Kaspersky Anti-Virus if you just want an anti-virus product.

KIS 7.0 is amongst the best when it comes to features and protection. Switched over to it 1 months ago after evaluating several other FW/AV, packages. Really a pleasure to use it and configure it becouse it allows and has lots of pro user settings. Which allows for complete control of everything going on from FW, AV, register/file activity and with excellent logging functions (very important)!

Pleasantly surprised the package came with the contents well protected and a "thick" (compared to other IS suites) manual for an overview of the program functions (many brands don't have anything worth calling a manual and lacks proper software manual).

Actually, you can get either Kaspersky product for FREE after rebate (FAR) if you're in the US.

Kaspersky and Amazon are running a series of rebates where you can get either Kaspersky product for free after a mail-in rebate. Rebates are valid until 2007-12-31.
