Dude, I was asking. You know: asking means I couldn't be the person who was answering.
    :?

Looks like someone skipped too many days in school...I don't see any questions, all I see is a answer, if you can call it that....

I think it is you who doesn't get it. Seeing a video of a game engine and actually having it run in real time on your own machine are profoundly different things. I would also argue that a static video cannot capture the true impact of HDR lighting; so seeing it in person wouldn't be the same as seeing it a year ago. Also, if you look back at his original post, it is quite clear that he liked the way it looked on his x800 XT PE, but the impressive thing was that it still looked good on the 9000. We didn't know that a year ago. We didn't see that a year ago. We didn't expect that a year ago. Illestone tried to make this last point, but you declined to catch it. I'll try to get through to you again. The VST is not impressive for what it shows but for what it is[i/]--a benchmark with which to make hardware comparisons. That is definately something we did not get from a video last year.

Look, T2k, you were right about the first poster. He should have RTFM'd, but now you're just being an asshat.

Right click on the game in the Games menu in Steam and disable preloading.

Look, kid, you're obviously too bored to add anything useful here... why don't you ask the nurse to bring you the chess kit?

    Cool.

My question is the same: isn't this the same-ol' stuff we've seen a year ago? It even looks the same, except there's no G-man...
