that's what happen when a product is not competitive (PV cost to performance ratio is horrendous)

 

Huh? PV is as commercialised as HPC accelerators can be*, not to mention that it's HPC, not the as good as cancelled HP

*Meaning it's available for others besides Intel, like the recently announced Rhea+PV

 

I guess that's supposed to be a kind of simulation of what the game would look like on a 4K monitor if run at 1080p? Weird comparison. The game's zoom certainly shouldn't blur out like that. But I guess how else are you supposed to demo this upscaling stuff in a video.

 

Comparing 4K image quality at roughly same performance.
Would like to see comparison of native 4K image quality where performance would be roughly twice as fast on XeSS.

It's readily available from the good old brick'n'mortar store which sells Voodoo5 9000 and BitchinFast 3D 2000 too

Raja said a lot, but there is a lot more he didn't say.

It seems they will not be really competing on fps metrics, instead they are focusing on differentiating themselves through improvements on streaming, they are also impressed with DLSS and are hoping XeSS will advance things further. Pricing and availability will not be stellar, drivers will not be in the best of shapes at launch, they are hoping they will improve on them over time.

 

These will be duds compared to the competition.

 

Two to three years of driver hell should be expected, in my opinion.
